Amharic Keys: A Fast and Easy Amharic Keyboard for iOS
Amharic Keys is the fastest Amharic system keyboard available for iOS8. Developed by LE SANG, this QWERTY keyboard allows you to type in Amharic and quickly copy the text to your desired apps.
Typing in Amharic can be challenging due to the large number of letters in the Amharic alphabet. However, with Amharic Keys, you can easily type using the Tap & Hold gesture. Simply tap and hold on the keyboard to display all the letters in one series, and then move your hand to select the letter you need. You can refer to the provided screenshots (4 and 5) for a visual guide.
To install the Amharic font, the process differs based on your iOS version. For iOS 7.0, you need to hide the keyboard, choose the settings icon, and install the font. Make sure to restart other apps when copying text. For iOS 7.1, you need to open all the apps where you want to copy Amharic text (email, SMS, Facebook, etc.), and then install the font as you would in iOS 7.0. It is important not to close the app in the background. If you still encounter issues with Amharic text not appearing when copying, simply reinstall the font.
